Training Programs

Incident Command System (ICS) - One/two-day course taught at the client's facility integrating your emergency response procedures and potential scenarios into the context of this universally adopted emergency
management system.

Oil Spill Response - One week course taught in conjunction with
Texas A & M University in Galveston and utilizing actual hands-on experience
to reinforce classroom curriculum, which includes regulations, safety and health, properties of oil, booms, skimmers, dispersants and much more.

Flammable Liquids Fire Fighting - One week course taught at the University of Nevada, Reno, where significant flammable liquid fires are simulated and extinguished using classroom techniques.

Hazardous Materials - One week course taught with Texas A & M
University in College Station. The course meets the training requirements
of Hazardous Materials Technician and Incident Command under OSHA's
Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response rule (29 CFR 1910.120q) and combines classroom subjects with actual hands-on scenarios.

Hazardous Materials Refresher - One day course taught at the clients'
facility or OOPS's offices and designed to meet the annual refresher
requirements of the OSHA rule.

Hazardous Waste Operations - One week course taught with Texas A & M University in College Station. The course meets the training requirements
of Hazardous Materials Technician and Incident Command under OSHA's
Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response rule (29 CFR 1910.120q) and combines classroom subjects with actual hands-on scenarios.

Crisis Management - One-day course providing participants with an
effective process for managing a crisis, along with an understanding of the
components of a crisis and factors that will mitigate a crisis outcome.
The course includes a hands-on exercise to emphasize instructional materials.

Vessel Response Plan & OPA'90 Familiarization - A four hour
course taught on board the client vessels during their port stay, followed by a mini-drill, it is designed to prepare, educate, and test the crew on their shipboard responsibilities during an actual or a potential threat of a spill.
